What's Up @ KCF

Who hasn’t struggled with “What to Do?”  Life itself has so many complexities. Doing the right thing is something we all struggle with. Each day, we are faced with making choices and hoping they are wise ones. Ephesians 5:17 helps us. It says, “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.”

Unwise or foolish decisions and actions can directly relate to “knowing the Lord’s will” or living outside of what God has revealed to you. God always reveals to us (conscience) what is right and wrong. But are we listening? Are we engaging? God has only good and blessings planned for us. But often, we ignore his “will for us” for what we think might be better, more convenient at the time, or less complicated, only to find out later our decisions caused us heartache, pain, and even sometimes life-altering consequences. Understanding what the Lord’s will is, is not that difficult. This is not the problem. Living it out is the challenge. Why not try submitting your will to God’s will and see what difference that makes in your life?

This Sunday, I will speak on “what to do” and use this text as my point of entry into living in the blessing of the Lord.

Why not join us and bring a friend? Pastor Jim Reimer
