What do Christmas and Sunday have in common? In both cases, Jesus is central. At least, that ought to be the goal. For many, Christmas might be anything but Jesus. Just as some churches hardly talk about, consider of, or contemplate the ever present and all-powerful Jesus. Not so at KCF. We believe Jesus is the reason for the season. And we believe that Mary delivered a baby, so the baby could deliver us. Because we experienced a deliverance; we worship, we gather together, we express love for both God and humans alike. This Sunday, we have reason to do both, honor Jesus on Christmas day and worship Jesus on Sunday, since both fall on the same day. Why not do something different this Christmas and join us for a time of gathering around the birth of Christ. We will have hot chocolate, Christmas goodies, sing carols, and enjoy a short Christmas devotional. Starts at 10:30 am till 11:30am, see you there! Merry Christmas - Pastor Jim Reimer.

Advent

We invite you to prepare for Advent by reading Isaiah 9:2-7, Luke 2:1-21 – Messiah Is Born.  The Christ candle will be lit this coming Sunday.

Christmas Eve Dinner is back!

We are excited to announce that the traditional, Free Christmas Eve dinner (Dec 24, 5pm) hosted by KCF is ON for this year. You are invited to join us.

New Year’s Day

New Year’s Day is on a Sunday and so we have the wonderful opportunity to meet together Sunday morning to start the new year together celebrating Jesus. What a great way to start the year!

Growth Groups – Winter Session Registration is Now Open

The next run of Growth Groups begins Jan 11 and run to March 1^st.

These groups offer a time to connect personally with one another, study the previous Sunday’s sermon in depth, share in a time of prayer together and have a time to be social with over dessert. We hope to find you in a growth group soon. There will be Womens, Mixed and an Online Group. Register on Sunday at the Information Table or contact the church office at office@kcfoffice.com or call 250-352-1722.

Rides to Church

We have people offering rides to and from church on Sunday.

If you want to come to church but need a ride, call or email Anne-Marie at the office and we will try and link you up with a ride. Also, if you can offer someone a ride, please let us know.

Tithes and Offerings

Those who are wanting to support our Church with offerings (during this time, it is very much appreciated) it can be done by etransfer to office@kcfoffice.com, through our website via PayPal, or by calling in to the office with a credit card or mailing in your cheque.
