Forgiveness

I have been deeply moved by the increasing number of people in our communities who are struggling with psychosomatic diseases, such as increased stress, psychological distress, relationship problems, poor sleep quality, and weakened immune systems. It seems that these issues are becoming more prevalent in our society. While there are multiple factors contributing to these challenges, one significant cause often goes unnoticed: unforgiveness. It may not be the sole reason for these health issues, but it could very well be the primary one.

Unforgiveness is like consuming a daily dose of poison while expecting the other person to suffer. It can have profound effects on our hearts and souls, impacting our overall well-being. However, discussing forgiveness is much easier than putting it into practice, especially when faced with the daunting task of forgiving someone who has deeply hurt us.

This Sunday, I invite you to join me at KCF Church in Nelson at 10:30 am. Together, we will explore what the Scriptures say about forgiveness and discover practical ways to embrace it in our lives. Let us come together as a community and learn how forgiveness can bring healing and restoration to our hearts and bodies.

Operation Restoration - A Meal with Marc and Lisa Honorat of Haiti ARISE

On Sunday, July 9 @ 5pm Kinnaird Park Community Church in Castlegar will host a dinner. Marc and Lisa Honorat will be there and will share about what’s been going on in Haiti. Admittance is by donation at the event.

Donations of salads and desserts or your time to participate with set-up, prep or clean-up are all welcomed. Please contact the church office if you would like to participate in any of the above or if you are planning to attend.
