The Spirituality Test

Just how spiritual are you? Here is a test. It says in Hebrews 10:34 [They] “joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.” Have you ever had someone take something of yours illegally, or even without your permission. Did you have joy? Why could they have joy? Because they knew there was “better and lasting possessions” stored up for them in heaven. But for the most part we don’t think like this. And it is for the most part why we don’t get and understand the parable of the treasure hidden in the field. Jesus said, the kingdom of God is like this buried treasure. If you find and receive this treasure you will be filled with inexplicable and ecstatic joy – Pastor Jim Reimer.
