Way of Holiness

What do you think the term “holiness” means? For some it may conjure up musty churches, echoing chambers of religious piety, and men wearing dresses they call robes. For others, it may have no meaning except for religious bigotry and outdated practices. In Isaiah 35, we find an invitation to walk on the “highway of holiness”. On this road, one will find health, joy, singing, freedom, and safety. But it is only for those that “walk in that way.” This Sunday, in my continuing sermon series on Cultural Tensions, I will be sharing how we can get on that road and walk in that way.

Growth Groups

Our opportunity to gather in small groups is just around the corner. These Wednesday evening groups are where we study the previous Sunday’s sermon, share our personal lives, support and encourage one another and pray and eat together will begin Sept 20 and run until Nov 29. General sign up is now open. There will be a facilitator and host training session on Wed, Sept 13^th (let us know if you would like to participate in the training session). If you are interested in being a part of one of these groups, simply reply to this email.
