What's Up @ KCF

Jesus, the gardener of my soul

Pastor Rick Benner, Executive Elder of KCF will be our guest speaker while Pastor Jim is away this weekend. Pastor Jim will be in Toronto speaking at a funeral and preaching on Sunday there.

Pastor Rick has written the bit below to give us a taste of what he will be sharing with us on Sunday. We hope you will be able to join with us as we hear from Pastor Rick and have opportunity to meet with him and his wife Sally.

God is bringing in a great harvest. This is the age of “every member ministry”! Prophetically I recently saw a great wave of harvest. I was about to pray for the harvest. When the Lord said, “No! pray for what you see as the waters pull back just before the wave of the harvest.”

The church wholeheartedly is to embrace the days of great harvest. We will quickly look at one word that the translators of the Bible have had a problem translating directly, as culturally it is difficult for people to receive.

Come, believing that Jesus, the gardener of your soul, will bring new insight into areas of ministry and opportunity to serve him.

We are praying for great impartation- Pastor Rick Benner.

Growth Groups

Our opportunity to gather in small groups is just around the corner. These Wednesday evening groups are where we study the previous Sunday’s sermon, share our personal lives, support and encourage one another and pray and eat together will begin Sept 20 and run until Nov 29. General sign up is now open. There will be a facilitator and host training session on Wed, Sept 13th (let us know if you would like to participate in the training session). If you are interested in being a part of one of these groups, simply reply to this email.
