Trauma in the Heart
Since we live in a fallen world, trauma is something that happens to us all. This may result in what is called PTSD and it has become a buzz phrase. It stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD is serious and can have life altering consequences.
Professional help may be needed. However, most individuals can experience healing from traumatic events through a personal relationship with Jesus and with prayer. The Bible is replete with people experiencing traumatic life altering events. Sometimes it worked out well for them, and for others, not so much. What was the difference? Response. Since traumatic events are common for all; the question is, what is or will be your reaction when disaster hits? You can experience healing and PTSD does not have to be a life sentence. This Sunday, I will be sharing on Trauma in the Heart and what to do about it. For background, read Psalms 55.
Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday at KCF – Pastor Jim Reimer.
