You’re desperate. A crisis looms over you. You turn to prayer—maybe for the first time in a long while. It’s a cry for help, a plea for God to intervene. And yet… nothing seems to happen.
Is that your experience?
When life is going smoothly, unanswered prayers don’t shake us as much. But when everything is falling apart, we long for an immediate response. Sometimes, God moves instantly. But more often, He doesn’t—at least not in the way we expect. And that can be frustrating.
But hear this. NO PRAYER IS WASTED! God is more concerned about your future, than to get you out of an immediate crisis.
God is not indifferent to our pain. He hears every prayer, receives every cry, and stores up every request. Yet, His wisdom goes beyond our immediate crisis. His concern is not just to remove our problems but to shape our future according to His perfect plan. He is not bound to our demands, but He is bound by His love for us.
And here is the wonderful promise, when we pray; heaven is activated and the process of something good is being unleashed by our loving Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
If you are not facing a crisis today, it will come. Remember this, NO PRAYER IS WASTED! Apostle Paul reminds us to always pray. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:18) Did you notice “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers”? Why? He answers this question in Chapter 3: 20. “[He] is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”. And that is why NO PRAYER IS WASTED.

The WELL – Wednesdays 7-9pm @ KCF beginning April 2
As we move into transition, it is important to seek God for his guidance, blessing and favour. We are creating this opportunity to gather initially as a large group for some worship, a devotional time and then corporate praying together, then we will break into small groups for personal sharing and study. This gathering is specific for KCF attenders and the study will be based on the previous Sunday’s message.
