“Gathered in Love, Washed in Grace, Sent with Purpose”
In John 13, on the eve of the cross, Jesus doesn’t retreat from love — He presses deeper into it. He gathers His disciples in radical affection, showing that His love endures “to the end.” Yet this love doesn’t stay sentimental; it stoops low. With a towel around His waist, Jesus washes His disciples’ feet, demonstrating that love also cleanses. And after this act of grace, He speaks of sending — not just Himself, but them. Jesus' followers are not merely receivers of God’s love; they are bearers of it. This passage traces the journey of discipleship: gathered by love, washed in grace, and sent with purpose. In a world where faith can feel passive or private, John 13 reminds us that true discipleship is active, humbling, and missional. Please join us this Sunday for worship, 10:30am at 520 Falls Street, invite a friend – Robin Ball.
Communion Sunday
This Sunday, we will have communion, so if you are joining us online, be prepared at home with some grape juice and bread as we share in this special time together.
The WELL – Wednesdays 7-9pm @ KCF beginning April 2
As we move into transition, it is important to seek God for his guidance, blessing and favour. We are creating this opportunity to gather initially as a large group for some worship, a devotional time and then corporate praying together, then we will break into small groups for personal sharing and study. This gathering is specific for KCF attenders, and the study will be based on the previous Sunday’s message.
