Meet the New Pastors 

Something great is going to happen this Sunday. It is a long time in coming. In fact, it has been in the works for more than 17 years. They say timing is everything, and the timing is perfect. This Sunday we will be formally recognizing the merger of two churches and setting in Andrew and Rachelle as Pastors of the new church called KCF. In 1992 Doreen and I, with a team from Crawford Bay, came to Nelson with express purpose of starting a church. Over the years we have been able to establish a thriving spiritual community with a strong humanitarian presence in Nelson. Since 2009, I have been endeavoring to turn the work over to someone with the same heart and vision as God placed in my heart. This is what the Apostle Paul did. He would establish a church in a community and then appoint elders and leaders to continue the work. Obviously, I am not as good as the Apostle, as it took me 17 years. But the time has come. Please join us as we set in and pray a rich anointing on God’s chosen successor to Doreen and I.

Pastors Rawlin Falk and Ron MacLean will be with us as well. It will be perfect if you too join us.

The WELL – Wednesdays 7-9pm @ KCF

As we move into transition, it is important to seek God for his guidance, blessing and favour. We are creating this opportunity to gather initially as a large group for some worship, a devotional time and then corporate praying together, then we will break into small groups for personal sharing and study. This gathering is specific for KCF attenders, and the study will be based on the previous Sunday’s message.

Children’s Wing

We are busy renovating and getting ready for a vibrant children ministry. You can help and leave a legacy for generations to come. How? By financially partnering with us and volunteering by cleaning and providing physical labour. Please consider financial donations of any amount. Summer Retreat 2025!

Are you longing for long, warm days spent enjoying Kootenay Lake-splashing, paddling, floating, wading, walking forest trails, digging your toes in the sand, reading a good book, napping after a good meal, great inspiration from the evening services and time spent after with friends by the fire or playing cards. Food Bank

Our Food Bank is in regular operation every Thursday from 9 to 11am!

We are always accepting donations of non-perishable food items, so feel free to drop items off that have been lingering in your cupboards.
