The New Testament describes the church as the body of Christ! First Corinthians 12:27 says, “Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it.” This picture of the church as a body. with Christ as the head, gives us profound insight into how connected each one of us can be with Jesus, and how connected we are to each other. When you surrender your life to Jesus, you become part of His body, and you have a part to play in doing His work in this world. Ephesians 4:13 promises, “we will in all things grow up into Him, who is the Head, that is Christ. From Him, the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Join us this Sunday as we look further at this amazing privilege of being the body of Christ - Andrew Freeman.
