Breakfast Sunday!

This coming Sunday, June 30, we will have a special church gathering as we share a yummy breakfast together at the usual time - 10:25am. We look forward to spending some quality time with each other as we eat together and have a time to hear what God has been doing in our lives. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family.

Pastor Jim is taking time away from the office over the month of June to rejuvenate and seek the Lord; however, he will be joining us on Sundays as usual.

Pastor Jim’s Blog will return in July.

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

 

P.A.R.T. (Pedal Along a Rail Trail) 14

We are pleased to report that this ride was a great success and a super fun time!  Over $5,000 was raised for Our Daily Bread. We want to express our extreme gratitude and thanks to all those who participated in so many various ways to make this a reality and a great event. It cannot be done without you. Thank you so much!

Donations to Our Daily Bread are needed throughout the year and can be made anytime. We invite you to check out our Website and/or come visit and enjoy a great nutritious meal and good company at ODB, Mon-Fri.

There are many ways to donate. E-Transfers to office@kcfoffice.com and various options for ongoing monthly donations can be set up as well.  

If you wish to be involved but do not have the finances, volunteers are always welcome. Contact the office for more information.

 ARTWALK is coming to S.H.A.R.E. Nelson

Come see Maya Heringa, a Nelson icon and fabulous local watercolor artist and Kasia Rubkiewicz, a new artist in Nelson with her beautiful oils and watercolor. Come meet our artists on First Opening night from 6-9pm on June 28, and July 27. ArtWalk runs from June 28 – September 6. Come join us during one of Nelson’s most famous art festivals and support our local artists! A portion of sale proceeds goes to support Our Daily Bread!

Retreat at Dutch Harbour

Registrations have been pouring in, so if you are planning to come, ensure you sign up to ensure your space. Space is limited!

This is an inexpensive opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, Kootenay Lake, beautiful mountains and beaches, plus be inspired and encouraged. This will all happen within the community of wonderful people. Pastor Glenn Breitkreuz will be our retreat Speaker and Cliff Schneider will provide Children’s Ministry for the kids.
