Finding the Will of God

Have you ever wondered what you should do? Of course you have! Life is not simple; and the older we get, it seems to get more complicated. Today (April 28) is my birthday. When I was young, I wondered where I should work, now I am wondering how to complete my work. What I know now, is not what I knew then; that the former was a lot simpler than the latter. Some of you might be challenged with making the right decisions, wondering what the right choice is, or which way to turn. Do you know that God actually cares about the choices you make? Yes, he does. He wants to be involved in your decision making process. His desire for us is good, blessing, and prosperity.

I want to encourage you to involve God in your plans. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, “Share your plans with the LORD, and you will succeed.” Other translations have it as: “Commit to the Lord your plans”, or “depend on the Lord in whatever you do”, or “put God in charge of your work”. This last phrase from the Message bible might have it the best, “put God in charge”. If we would only do that, it would save us a mitt full of trouble. God wants us to be successful. He is the only one who knows what is around the corner. We can only make calculated guesses, and even then, we can miss the mark totally. But God knows the future. And God cares and loves us. He wants to treat us as sons and daughters, providing guidance, protection from harm, and a pathway to success.

This Sunday I will be continuing my series from Proverbs called, Words to Live By.  I am going to talking about God’s plans-Our plans. If you have ever been questioning how to know the will of God, this sermon will be for you. I look forward to seeing you online with us.

Sunday Meeting

We want to make our online experience better for all our viewers. Church is a community, intended for interactive and responsive connection between each other. We have been using Facebook, but it has its limitations. We have launched kcf.online.church for all our attendees. CHECK IT OUT! There you will find a Bible, our schedule, links to our website, a place for prayer, a place to give, a page for interactive comments, growth group questions and more.

It will be easy for you to invite your friends, to share and to be more connected, even if we are virtual.

Please consider using this platform on Sundays at 10:30am, sign in, and enjoy.
