Tuned In

 I have heard it said, God is always speaking. He is always wanting to connect with each of us. Even when there is radio silence, God is in the silence. The tricky part is recognizing the voice of God speaking to us. I am going to start a new series on Discerning the Voice of God. The benefit of a radio is only realized when it is tuned into the right frequency. So it is with God and us. This Sunday, I want to talk about being “Tuned In”.  Looking forward to connecting with you – Pastor Jim Reimer.

A Taste of the Philippines

Next Wednesday, October 26^th, KCF is hosting “A Taste of the Philippines”, where we can taste Authentic Philippino foods. The funds raised will support a Basketball Court at a church site in Lamcanal, Philippines which history has shown brings the community together. Tickets are $15/person and there will Toonie and Silent Auctions at the event. See the attached poster for details. Tickets through Ken Rae k83rae@gmail.com or KCF office. Volunteer opportunities also available.

Church Membership Classes

KCF is offering membership. If KCF is important to you, we encourage you to take membership and become part of the Society. The strength of the church is in committed members. In the class, you will learn what that means and what it is. If you are interested in church membership, please contact the office.

The next round of membership classes will be held over 4 Sundays at 12:30 pm - Sunday, November 6, 20, 27 and Dec 4. Pre-registration is required.

Rides to Church

We have people offering rides to and from church on Sunday.

If you want to come to church but need a ride, call or email Anne-Marie at the office and we will try and link you up with a ride. Also, if you can offer someone a ride, please let us know.

Tithes and Offerings

Those who are wanting to support our Church with offerings (during this time, it is very much appreciated) it can be done by Etransfer to office@kcfoffice.com, through our website via PayPal, or by calling in to the office with a credit card or mailing in your cheque. Thank you for continuing giving to the church with your tithes and generous offerings.
