The most important question in the World…

 Jesus had just been asking his friends, “Who do people say that I am?” He’s not looking for a popularity poll, he’s after something much deeper in these followers.

 They reply, “Some say John the Baptist, Elijah or one of the other prophets from of old, come back to life.” In other words, someone really significant and important.

 But Jesus gets to the heart of the matter… “But who do YOU say that I am?

 See, it doesn’t really matter what anyone else says or thinks, the most important question in the world is, “But who do YOU say that I am?  

 The way we answer that dictates our whole lives! It’s THE most pivotal question ever - more important that who you will marry, or what you will become, or where you will live…

 We can rule out that he was ‘a myth’, no serious historian gives that the time of day….  C.S. Lewis gives 3 options, “Liar, lunatic or Lord”. And then says, “You must make your choice, either this man was and is the Son of God or else a madman or something worse.

 Peter comes back with his answer, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”. He got it!

 So for us, how we answer closes the door shut or swings it wide open to the life abundant he is offering. It's too important to ignore.  And if we say like Peter - “You are the Christ the Son of the living God” then we enter into a whole new world, and he deserves our whole lives.

 We are experiencing God weekly drawing people to put their trust in him and he is moving and bringing life. Let’s give our all to him and experience the life that he is offering.

 This Sunday we have a special guest speaker, Rachelle’s Dad, David Ferguson sharing on surrendering to the will of God. See you there!

The Lookout space for our vibrant children’s ministry is now being used! A big thank you to all who have contributed time and resources to make this happen.

 Food Bank

Our Food Bank is in regular operation every Thursday from 9 to 11am!

We are always accepting donations of non-perishable food items, so feel free to drop items off that have been lingering in your cupboards. There will be a bin on site on Sundays during our gathering too!
